Handwoven in wool circa 1910-1920, this 3x3 Kilim is an antique Persian bag—a collectible textile once used by nomadic tribes in their daily life.
On the Design:
Connoisseurs will note this gift-sized piece has been opened up, as other tribal flatweaves and textiles of its construction often are today. Its design enjoys rich brown stripes with crimson red, peach and light purple geometric patterns and tribal motifs.
Condition:
This bag rug further enjoys good condition for its age and origin. Its narrow size is especially suitable for wall-hanging projects, table runner projects, accent rugs, and similar decorative applications in addition to flooring, too.
